Features: Emergency response following the collapse of a section of sea wall/carriageway.

A temporary haul road was construction along the beach to allow for delivery of materials and speed up the construction process, whilst allowing the busy coastal road to remain open.

A concrete plinth was constructed along the entire length of the sea wall. This was followed by an extensive pressure grouting exercise to the wall above the new plinth.

Finally the wall was reinforced with 5000 tonnes of rock armour.
